What Relocate in Europe knows about you when you read the site, write to us or become a partner – and what it does not. Plain language, no small print.
Relocate in Europe is published by VOR Media Technologies, 470 Promenade des Anglais, 06200 Nice, France. This policy explains what personal data the site handles, why, and what your rights are. It applies to relocateineurope.com and the pages under it. Last updated 24 September 2026.
The short version
- You can read every guide without an account, a login or a cookie banner. We do not use cookies.
- Choices you make on the site – the city you pick, ticks in the moving checklist, countries you compare – are stored in your own browser (local storage) and never sent to us.
- Visits are counted without identifying you: no advertising trackers, no profiles, no cross-site tracking.
- When you write to us, we keep the correspondence for as long as the matter needs it.
- Partners who buy a partner page give us business contact and invoicing details, which we process to run the service.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else sees data
The site is delivered through a hosting and content-delivery provider, which processes technical data on our behalf under a data-processing agreement. E-mail is handled by our e-mail provider. Partner payments are handled by a payment provider, which receives the details needed to take the payment; we never see full card numbers. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, it does so under the safeguards the EU recognises, such as standard contractual clauses.
Links to other websites
Our guides link to official websites of governments and agencies, and partner pages link to the partner’s own site. Those sites have their own privacy rules; this policy does not cover them.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, ask us to restrict or stop processing it, object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and ask for a copy in a usable format. Write to editor@relocateineurope.com. We answer within a month. You also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority – in France, the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL), or the authority in the country where you live.
Children
The site is written for adults planning a move. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16, and we ask parents to contact us if they believe a child has sent us data.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and material changes are announced on the News page.
